United offers several co-branded credit cards issued by Chase. United also introduced a new credit card with no annual fee, the United Gateway℠ Card, which also offers a small but valuable welcome bonus.
Even if you don’t plan on cashing in miles for a distant destination anytime soon, earning travel rewards in an excellent position can save you money when you finally decide to book a trip. And thus earn points or miles credit card welcome bonuses is one of the fastest ways to increase the balance of your travel rewards.

No welcome bonus on the United Club℠ Infinite card, but a waived annual fee for the first year
The premium United Club℠ Infinite card no longer offers its great welcome bonus of 100,000 miles after spending $ 5,000 in the first three months of opening an account – but forgoing its hefty $ 525 annual fee for the first year.
The United Club℠ Infinite card offers membership to the United Club, the airline’s network of airport lounges. Therefore it can justify such a high annual fee; buying an annual United Club membership can cost as much as $ 650. This benefit gives you and your eligible travel companions free access to all United Club locations, plus participating Star Alliance lounges around the world.
The United Gateway℠ Card is the new from United credit card with no annual fee, and it’s just launched as a replacement for United’s older no-annual-fee cards, the United TravelBank and the United MileagePlus.
You can earn 10,000 Miles after spending $ 1,000 in the first three months of opening an account.
If you’re considering a United card, remember the 5/24 rule
Since United’s co-branded credit cards are issued by Chase, they are subject to Chase’s 5/24 ruleThis means that if you’ve opened five or more credit cards (at banks) in the last 24 months, Chase will not approve you for these cards.
