Xbox Series X UK stock news for Argos, Smyths and Amazon pending Microsoft stock

Microsoft has managed to keep up with demand slightly better than some of its rivals, but it still remains very difficult to track down and purchase Xbox Series X consoles in 2021.

The restocks of the Xbox Series S last a bit longer in comparison, but are also sold out in addition to the other next-gen consoles.

The good news is that Xbox series X Restocking is expected before the end of the month, with Smyths and Amazon possible.

No major UK retailer is expected to deliver more Xbox Series X shares this weekend unless a few surprises emerge.

While we don’t know when the next Xbox Series X stock will drop, we’ve gotten a few hints.

Smyths has already shipped some inventory this month, and the website confirms more are on the way.

A report on the Smyths site adds, “Out of stock. Expected in stock: Feb 2021. “

This means there is a chance of another stock drop this week as it would normally list the following month if no more updates were scheduled.

Meanwhile, outlets like Argos have not released any further news as to when they will be returning next-gen consoles. Argos is not expected to offer more PS5 consoles until March, meaning that a final Xbox Series X release could be coming later this week.

And while we don’t know which UK retailer is next offering shares, there is the hope it could be a very well-known internet giant.

This month, Amazon is offering Xbox updates in European countries, with the Xbox Series S being last restocked through the Polish Microsoft Store.

And since Amazon UK isn’t on the current list, that could mean a stock update of the Xbox series is coming our way. This should be taken as a prediction for now as we are not sure what Amazon UK has planned.

And just like the recent Smyths and Very stock, another retailer could end up being next to offer next-generation gaming machines. As many console hunters already know, scalpers and bots have made buying an Xbox Series X difficult.

Some retailers have begun to take precautions when it comes to offering stocks, but there are still big problems on sites like Argos and Game.

Besides bots and scalpers, another reason the console is so hard to find is a lack of components.

Id Software co-founder John Carmack shared his own views on the current situation and revealed that Microsoft and Sony should play a greater role in console sales.

Commenting on next-gen consoles and delivery issues with Nvidia, Carmack revealed, “Given the shortages and speculators on things like 3090 GPUs and new consoles, it looks like we’re really better off having a transparent auction system straight from the manufacturers and a more efficient market, ”he wrote.

“The world of sales channels has prevented that in the past, but for many products we go beyond that. There would be a lot of outrage about the reported prices outside the door, but removing middlemen should ultimately yield better for consumers. “

The Xbox Series X was reportedly the UK’s best-selling console in January and it will be interesting to see how it fares in February.

But whichever company comes out on top, Microsoft has shared hints on what they have planned for their new consoles, including improving backward compatibility performance.

A message from Microsoft explains, “As we outlined in October, with the increased CPU, GPU and memory of our new consoles, all your existing games look and play better.

“With certain titles, we can make the experience even better, without the developer having to do anything about it and the gamer not needing an update.

To that end, the backward compatibility team has developed FPS Boost, which uses a variety of new methods to nearly double (and in some cases quadruple) the original frame rate on select titles. Higher, more stable frame rates make games visually smoother, resulting in more immersive gameplay.

“We worked closely with developers to improve the experience while maintaining the original intent of the game.

And while not applicable to all games, these new techniques may prompt game engines to render faster for a buttery smooth, smooth experience that goes beyond what the original game might have delivered thanks to the hardware’s capabilities on that. moment. “
