A Hampton credit union was robbed Monday morning by a masked man who ran off with an undisclosed amount.
Hampton police were called at 11:25 AM about a robbery that had just happened at the Bayport Credit Union, block 1100 of Big Bethel Road.
A man in a dark face mask and dark jacket with a hood gave a bank employee a note that “implied a firearm and demanded money,” police said. He then escaped in a car.
