Best Buy is a favorite of Black Friday bargain hunters looking for discounts on electronic gifts, so the addition to the Discover cashback calendar gives consumers another chance to save money this holiday season.
If you’ve already activated the Discover 5% bonus categories for Q4, you don’t need to do anything else – the bonus is automatically added. For those who haven’t yet, it is easy to activate through your Discover online account, and you earn the bonus from the day you sign up until the end of December.
Among this quarter’s Best Buy bonus categories, Amazon, Target.com and Walmart.com, it should be easy for most customers to maximize their 5% cash back earnings. If you hit the combined spending limit of $ 1,500 (after which you get 1% back, like all other purchases), you’ll earn $ 75 in bonus rewards – not bad for shopping you probably would anyway.
